Hola Amigos Tangueros ! We're catching our breath because it's been a busy couple of weeks and there's more to come . . . TANGO PASIÓN - MILONGA (Saturday 6/9/03) & CHARITY MILONGA (Sunday 14/9/03) TANGO PASIÓN - Sydney's classic Milonga in the heart of the cosmopolitan Eastern suburbs. Elegant friendly setting with great music presented by the meticulous inspired Tango DJ, "el Portenito". Pedro and Sophia proudly co-host with Anna & Martin Cohen the Tango Pasión Milonga, held every 1st & 5th Saturday of the month at the Bondi Junction RSL from 8pm to midnight. The next Tango Pasión Milonga is on this Saturday, 6th September.
Tango Pasión is holding its Milonga Para Los Niños at Bondi Junction RSL on Sunday, 14th September from 6pm - 10pm. The Milonga, which features a show by the award winning Argentine Folk Ballet, will raise funds for severely disadvantanged children in Argentina & Uruguay. We invite you to attend this worthwhile event and donations for raffle / auction are welcome. 2) NEXT PATIO de TANGO MILONGA Tuesday 9 September Tango every Tuesday at Rose Bay RSL (Lesson: 6:30pm - 7:30pm. Social Dance: 7:30pm - 10:30pm). If you're new to tango you'll love this venue with its welcoming ambience. It's a great place to learn tango and meet tango afficianados. Bistro, cafe and bar service is on the premises. 3) FESTIVAL OF WINDS Before the Milonga para los Niños you may like to enjoy the Festival of Winds Celebration, happening down the road at Bondi Beach, also on Sunday, 14th September from 11am - 4:30pm. This is Bondi's biggest festival and Australia's biggest kite festival. PATIO de TANGO will be performing at 3.45pm at the Bondi Pavilion Amphitheatre. Other dance performances including: Flamenco, Polynesian, Balinese, Indian, West African, Aborriginal, Caribbean and kids Capoiera.
We'll also be giving a FREE 'Introduction to Tango' workshop on the day. This will be held in the High Tide Room shortly before our performance. Check time on the day. 4) NEW 6 WEEK BEGINNER COURSE This course covers the fundamentals needed to dance socially. Next courses start on Thursday, September 18 at Bondi Beach, Wednesday, September 24 at Sydney City & Tuesday, September 30 at Rose Bay. Until then, Beginners classes continue as drop-in classes at the same venues and times.

We'd
like to thank everyone who visited, assisted and danced at the PATIO de TANGO stall at Dancexpo. The Expo was held
at the State Sports Centre at Homebush (29 - 31 August) and attracted 12,000 people. PATIO de TANGO also gave a
free tango lesson to over 70 people and performed twice on the main stage.
