Spanish films . . . and alternative living (all having tango!) - Irene Livolsi and Jose Prates, Jeanne Bastos, Gato and Andrea . . . read on! 1) NEW FRIDAY TANGO VENUE ! We've expanded our venues to include a monthly Tango Social Dance (Milonga) on the SECOND FRIDAY of each month at the Botany RSL. With its huge dance floor, elegant setting, bistro and bar service and easy parking, we love this venue and hope you will too.

Love to dance tango? Our tango DJ will keep you dancing with his inspired and spontaneous mix of tangos, valses and milongas. New to tango? Learn to tango, watch some great tangoing and enjoy the intoxicating music and atmosphere! 2) Upcoming Milongas at Rose Bay . . . We continue to host PATIO de TANGO Milongas at the Rose Bay RSL every Tuesday night from 7:30pm - 10:45pm. Entry $7 (FREE for our Beginners students.) Our next Saturday Milonga at Rose Bay features . . . Argentina's IRENE LIVOLSI and Brazil's JOSE PRATES.

Bookings required. Irene sings some delicious tango songs, accompanied by Jose on piano (10pm - 10:30pm ). Tango DJ from 8pm through the night.

4) NEW VENUE for Wednesday Beginners courses From 5 May we won’t be teaching at 'La Campana'. We're moving to a new city venue. Our teaching venues for Tuesday and Thursday classes remain unchanged. 5) New Zealand Tango Festival 4 - 7 June, 2004 in Auckland The festival includes over 30 workshops, three very different nights of tango dancing, performances and bands from the best of New Zealand teachers and overseas guests. There’s also a beginners program for people new to tango and accommodation billeting.
6) AUSTRALIAN TANGO FESTIVAL 30 September - 3 October 2004 in Melbourne Celebrating four days of Tango dancing with an excellent line-up of some of Australia’s finest teachers and performers, plus milongueros from all over Australia, New Zealand and Asia. A truly special Tango event in Australia. Not to be missed ! PATIO de TANGO is taking bookings for the Festival. This world leading celebration of alternative living is a must-visit for anyone who wants to experience something a little different in life. We’re thrilled that the Festival organisers see the connection between tango and mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing. PATIO de TANGO was asked to perform at the Festival, and we’ve extended the invitation to other tango schools, so that we can all promote our beloved dance in a grand way.
